Our Charitable Objectives

Sefa Partnerships is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient 1 Status

Our charitable objectives are:

(a) the relief of poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability or helplessness suffered by disadvantaged communities and persons in Australia, by any means, including:

(i) the provision of financial assistance; and

(ii) working in partnership with, otherwise in co-operation with, other organisations on benevolent project including but not limited to:

(A) the provision of social and affordable housing;

(B) the provision of crisis accommodation;

(C) the provision of low-cost retirement housing;

(D) supporting people with, or those caring for people with disabilities or mental illness;

(E) indigenous programs; and

(F) building capacity and improving expertise for persons involved in the  provision of benevolent projects

(b) to act as trustee and to perform and discharge the duties and functions incidental thereto where this is incidental or conducive to the attainment of these objects; and

(c) to do such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of these objects.
